Some of Planchette's details. Collaboration with Laila :icondebi-chiru:!

She provided the base doll parts, made the bustle, and did all the assembly work. I painted/blushed her, and made most of the metal parts and the headpiece. The gorgeous photos were taken by Laila, and edited by me for DA.

Planchette's design incorporates a number of found/antique objects. I painted her to look dusty and abandoned, like she'd been lying in a corner somewhere since the 1800s. This was my first attempt at customizing a doll, so I'm really happy with how she turned out.

Disturbing, but very cool. Actually I was writing a poem this morning, and this is very similar to the picture I had in my head. Creepy.
