Something inspired by an old Internet friend of mine, whom I am very fond of and used to spend a lot of time with, but haven't been in touch with in years. I really want to contact him but, sadly, the more time goes by, the harder it gets. That's the way these things go, I guess.
So here's some art I did to go with my nostalgia. The lineart isn't pretty and the character isn't very original, but it's something a little personal, and I'm proud of it. I love fun light sources, even if I've got a lot of learning to do. Hey, you don't get anywhere if you don't make mistakes to correct, right? Or maybe that's just my excuse... xD
This was mouse-colored in Photoshop CS, about 6 hours not including the lineart. I want a tablet. D:
[bitch] I hate that every computer in my house has different brightness and color saturation settings. This looks perfect on my laptop but the contrast is too high on my Dad's PC... I have no idea if it looks like suck on any of YOUR computers, too. I'm worried that it might be too dark on non-LCD screens, but I have no way of knowing. GRRAARRGH, HULK SMASH. [/bitch]

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
